Various Duckweed Projects (Coexistence, Invasion, Eco-tox, Herbivory)
The Turcotte lab will be conducting a series of projects generally exploring ecological and evolutionary interactions surrounding duckweed. One project will quantify how various populations differ in their ability to coexistent. Another will get how rapid evolution impacts the ability of a species to invader a community. A third will focus on duckweed cyanobacteria interactions and finally a fourth will test the impact of various herbivores on duckweed population dynamics.
