Each summer, the Pymatuning Lab of Ecology (PLE) offers an assortment of field-based undergraduate level courses to Pitt students as well as to a consortium of regional universities to serve as a source of biological field courses for the entire western PA region. While PLE is part of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh's main campus, the PLE Educational Consortium has grown to include Pitt-Bradford, Pitt-Greensburg, Pitt-Johnstown, PennWest-California, PennWest-Clarion, PennWest-Edinboro, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Slippery Rock University.

Course Offerings
